Hi. I’m Matt - Senior Designer + Art Director for August Schell Brewing Co., currently based in St. Paul, Minnesota. I specialize in creating visual solutions for packaging, print layout, branding, event promotion, and multimedia production.
After attending the Minneapolis College of Art & Design, several years were spent recording and playing music extensively both nationally and internationally. Amidst the glamorous long drives and van-hopping in the music world, I chipped away at a multitude of design and art projects, ranging from album package design, event posters and promo material, merchandising, screen printing, video production and editing, event planning and curation, and anything else that cropped up.
A frequent freelancer, I’ve had the pleasure of collaborating with clients such as Sony Red Distro, Southern Records, Orienté Bancal Productions, 89.3 The Current, Local Guys Chicken + Fries, Black Frost Distilling Co., Round Bale Recordings, Exile on Mainstream Records-Berlin, The Loring Pasta Bar + Varsity Theater, ICON Lounge, Grain Belt Beer, Feeding Tube Records, Sound Unseen, and many more.
